The Old Man and the Sea *alternate ending*

From the below drawing which may or may not have been produced in a long meeting. Finally a little color around here.

It's been a while since I read the book so it may not be entirely accurate.

I love the shape of the head - it gives the character such a nautical feeling...like it's the shape of the front of a boat. Did you do that on purpose? Where did the inspiration for the shape of the head come from? LOVE it.
