I did this figure drawing a couple of years back but have always liked it. Those were the blissful days of figure drawing 4 times a week. Now I am just trying to keep my head above water when it comes to figure drawings, though I've been a little more optimistic lately.

I have to agree, its a shame that there is no time to draw as much these days. Really nice foreshortening on this one.

I really like the rhythm of the lines through the legs/pelvis, shoulders, and head, and how you echoed that in the way you rendered the form and background. Very inspiring for me, a lesser artist!

Really nice. The sculptural feel and even the model reminds me of a leyendecker/early rockwell.

I agree totally with you, Mr. Malan, this figure drawing is excellent, and the lack of practice about model drawing is a serious problem for me aswell.
