I wanted to work on getting my style a little less overworked. I also wanted to keep the line work. Here is the product, hopefully I can keep developing the look but I was really pleased with the final image, enough that I may further develop the character and story.

i love either way. i think the "overworked" option you had earlier is just another way to approach it. it isn't necessarily better or worse, in my opinion.
I love this, though. thanks for sharing. there are so many cool things you did with this. I'm trying to get my line work to be more confident, like yours.
