Pencil on my new toned paper sketchbook which is 9"x12"
One more small thing, my compliments to Strathmore for using Scott Burdick's drawings on their newer sketchbooks. I haven't conducted any formal survey but I would swear every sketchbook company was seeking out high school underclassmen for artwork they could use as cover art for sketchbooks.
BTW, have a listen to Scott Burdick's presentation on Beauty, it is excellent.

Mark, this is Prismacolor then I hit the eyes with a white ballpoint.

That's a good point about sketchbook cover art. I wonder why it's usually so underwhelming. Maybe there's some kind of Freakonomics theory about it...
