figure drawing #60
A figure drawing from a couple weeks back. I finally got a chance to work on grey paper and work up and down the value spectrum. I liked it. The paper had kind of a waffel texture that was problematic and you can see my values are kind of spotty but all in all I liked it. I'll look for some smooth paper next time.

I follow your blog from Brazil e and really, really love your drawings.
I love how the highlights look on the grey paper. Wonderfully expressive even in her still pose.
Stay inspired!
Dear David,
Brillinat, elegant and moody!! I love it, too.
Cheers, Sadami
Your problems with the waffle-textured paper were worth it in my books. I love the textured look here. Beautiful drawing, as usual. Brilliant work!
J'aimerais beaucoup avoir des vidéos tutorial, des vos sketsch ils sont magnifique
Hi David,
I had been visiting your blog.
Just to say that I really like your work, specially the drawings. Congratulations! :)
Love this one. I used it as a primer to work on some issues I'd been having with the female facial features. Thank you!
I think this model appears in a number of your sketches.
