A figure drawing from a couple weeks back. I finally got a chance to work on grey paper and work up and down the value spectrum. I liked it. The paper had kind of a waffel texture that was problematic and you can see my values are kind of spotty but all in all I liked it. I'll look for some smooth paper next time.
I follow your blog from Brazil e and really, really love your drawings.
ReplyDeleteI love how the highlights look on the grey paper. Wonderfully expressive even in her still pose.
ReplyDeleteStay inspired!
Dear David,
ReplyDeleteBrillinat, elegant and moody!! I love it, too.
Cheers, Sadami
Your problems with the waffle-textured paper were worth it in my books. I love the textured look here. Beautiful drawing, as usual. Brilliant work!

ReplyDeleteLove this one. I used it as a primer to work on some issues I'd been having with the female facial features. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI think this model appears in a number of your sketches.
